Methi Fried Rice


Methi leaves (finely chopped) – 1 cup

Masala items – cardamamom, cloves

Ginger garlic (finely chopped)

Onions – 2

Rice – 1 cup

Salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder


First pressure cook the rice and keep it aside.

Now heat oil in a pan and fry the masala, ginger an garlic in it.

Fry the onions (finely chopped) until they are golden brown.

Now add the chopped Methi leaves and mix well.

Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, a pinch of garam masala and stir well.

After it has cooked properly, add the cooked rice in the pan and mix well (that the curry blends well with the rice).

Add some more oil to fry the rice mixture and fry for few mins.

Delicious Methi Fried rice is ready to be served 🙂
